Jam Retrospective

The most overwhelming piece of feedback from the other jam participants was that the game was confusing and they didn't know what to do. So post-jam I set about fixing that!

The lyrics in the book now light up and show you which part you need to sing, karaoke-style. You can practice each line of the ritual song indefinitely and when you are ready to perform it for real you can indicate that with a gesture (raising your hand).

Other changes and additions include:

• the priest is now animated
• expanded tutorial
• shader cache fixes
• more haptics
• small performance optimisations

I've also added a video demoing what you can do in free play mode.
